We stayed up late on November 8 to cover election returns live on the internet and on the radio. The radio portion of the program was our special hour-long election edition of the Watershed Post Half-Hour News Hour, which aired from 11pm to midnight on WIOX 91.3FM and WGXC 90.7FM. With the help of Mike Teitelbaum and Rich Grape, who worked the board and the phones, we did live interviews with candidates and announced hot election results in real time.
Here are the candidates we interviewed live on the radio during the show, in the order of their appearance:
- Marge Miller, the newly-elected Middletown supervisor
- Wayland (Bud) Gladstone, a newly-elected Andes town councilman
- Kimberly Tosi, the newly-elected Andes town clerk
- Joe Moskowitz, an unsuccessful candidate for Middletown supervisor
You can listen to an archived version of the show below.
