SUNY Delhi police seek missing student

University Police at SUNY Delhi are seeking help to find a missing person.

Steven W. Sutliff is a 21-year-old white male. He is 5'9" with brown hair with brown eyes and weighs approximately 150 pounds.

Police: Catskill man fired gun in Home Depot

On December 14, 2016 State Police responded to a report of a shot being fired at the Home Depot Store on CR 23B in the Town of Catskill. Investigation at the scene revealed that a subject was at a register when he discharged one round from a .38 cal handgun which he had in his coat pocket. The round exited his coat then struck the floor. One employee was taken for medical treatment for a complaint of hearing loss. The subject left the store, but was located by State Police approximately 2 hours later at a residence in the Village of Catskill. He was identified as Steven J.

DEP installs new bridges near Rondout Reservoir

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) today announced the completion of a $7 million project to replace two small bridges at the upper end of Rondout Reservoir in Sullivan County. The project included the replacement of the Lows Corners Bridge and Sugarloaf Bridge, which were constructed more than 60 years ago, at the same time as the reservoir.

CWC grant assists Shandaken with proposed Town Hall move out of flood plain

MARGARETVILLE, December 9, 2016 – The Catskill Watershed Corporation (CWC) Board of Directors on December 6 approved a grant of $114,000 to the Town of Shandaken to purchase property for the proposed relocation of the town hall and highway garage.
