Downsville couple charged with dealing cocaine

Today, Sheriff Thomas Mills announced that on Monday afternoon December 19 th , 2016 members of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office “Special Response Team” executed a search warrant and subsequently arrested two residents in the Town of Colchester. Investigators and deputies arrested and charged Douglas C. James age 57 and Karen D. James age 57, both of Downsville, NY, with one count of Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug (COCAINE) with the intent to sell in the third degree; a class “B” Felony and one count of Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 2nd degree a class “D” felony.

Missing SUNY Delhi student found

SUNY Delhi student Steven W. Sutliff, 21, has been located and is in good health in Oneonta, NY, according to University Police.

Sutliff was identified and contacted by Oneonta City Police Friday afternoon at the Huntington Library. He then contacted SUNY Delhi officials.

"I'd like to thank the public for their help in providing information that led to locating Steven," said University Police Chief Martin Pettit. "I would also like to thank all the law enforcement agencies, particularly the Oneonta Police Department, for assisting with the search."
