Multiple drug arrests made in Delaware County
Delaware County Sheriff Thomas Mills announces that several Delaware County drug dealers have been arrested on sealed indictment warrants issued Thursday by the Delaware County Court following a number of narcotics investigations conducted by members of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division.

Conservation creates local jobs.
That was the message at a public meeting held to celebrate the recent passage of the Delaware River Basin Conservation Act, held at the headquarters of Friends of the Upper Delaware River in Hancock on Thursday. It was a low-key event, with only about 40 people in attendance. But for the elected officials, environmental advocates and local stakeholders who have been working to get the DRBCA passed, it was the culmination of more than five years of hard work.

The site of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival is at the top of a list of places around New York State nominated for inclusion in state and national Registers of Historic Places.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office announced the list of 26 locations, nominated by the New York State Board for Historic Preservation, on Tuesday, Dec. 20.
Tugboat sinks in Schoharie Reservoir
Divers are working to recover a tugboat that sank in New York City's upstate Schoharie Reservoir on Monday, Dec. 19, spilling a small amount of fuel oil into the reservoir.
According to DEP spokesman Adam Bosch, the tugboat was being used for ongoing work on the reservoir's release works, a $142 million construction project that is expected to be completed in 2020.
