Looks like winter is here for real: The higher elevations in upstate New York, including the tops of the Catskills peaks, are looking at a few inches of wet snow tonight.
The National Weather Service has also issued a hard freeze alert that covers Greene, Schoharie and Ulster Counties as well as much of eastern New York and western New England.
