Boiceville man on Ulster County's Most Wanted list arrested

A 20-year-old Boiceville man who was on Ulster County’s top 10 most-wanted list, for obscenity related charges, was arrested on Friday afternoon after turning himself in, police said.

In March, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant for the arrest of Thomas J. V. Lepak after he allegedly sent an inappropriate photo to a 15-year-old via Facebook, according to an Ulster County Sheriff’s Office press release. Police say Lepak fled the area. On Friday, Lepak surrendered himself to detectives and was arrested.

Lepak was charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor and arraigned in Hurley town court. He will appear in Shandaken town court at a later date.

The Shandaken Police Department assisted with Ulster County detectives in the investigation.
