Liberty Festival on the Fourth of July

Parade and Celebration

The Greater Liberty Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Village and Town of Liberty will be hosting its 19th Annual Summer Celebration on July 4th, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event includes closing off both North and South Main Streets to vehicle traffic to accommodate the annual 4th of July Parade, Antique Car Show and more than sixty food, craft and retail vendors.

The Antique Car Show, always a favorite, will be located on South Main Street, and entertainment this year will be provided by the Carl Richards Band, a well-known local band with a strong following, along with additional acts performed by Josie Lou, the Country Girl, and Tonya Lynn Hall, who just returned from performing in Nashville. Mr. Phil, a national TV star seen on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, will perform some patriotic tunes and to keep with the patriotic spirit there will be free flags for the crowd. Plus as a special treat, Mark Lysogorski, the Polka Man, promises to get the crowd on its feet.

While listening to the music, you can join Paulina for a creative journey at her Art Picnic, then take your best shot at the dunking booth, which has been added to the venue this year along with a duck race, with all proceeds to benefit existing projects sponsored by the Liberty Chamber.
