On Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., the Ulster Ballet Company invites students and senior citizens to a special performance of its spectacular Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, “A Christmas Carol,” at the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) in Kingston, N.Y. Tickets are available at a discounted rate of $5.00 per person. One free admission is provided for every 10 tickets purchased. UBC is proud to announce its 21st season of this spectacular production, which has
become a holiday tradition amongst Hudson Valley audiences. Featuring a cast of 60+
dancers, actors and stage professionals from the Hudson Valley, “A Christmas Carol”
presents this heartwarming and emotional tale of redemption through the use of voice-
over narration, mime and dance. Spectacular lighting and special effects, colorful
costumes, and stunning set designs make this production touch the hearts and capture
the attention of audiences of all ages. “A Christmas Carol” boasts breathtaking props and
sets, including backdrops designed and painted by Leslie Bender, a highly acclaimed local
artist who has worked extensively with Ulster Ballet.
Additional performances and Ticket Information: The dates for the upcoming production of “A Christmas Carol” are Friday, December 4th, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 5th at 4:00 p.m. (Note this new earlier time will make it more convenient for families to enjoy the show, and then have dinner at one of Kingston’s fine restaurants); and Sunday, December 6th at 2 p.m. at UPAC, 601 Broadway, Kingston, New York. Tickets are $22 for adults; and $18 for senior citizens, and UPAC/Bardavon members. For groups of ten or more, and children 12 and under, tickets are $15.
