THE OPEN EYE THEATER SEEKS SHORT STORIES, POEMS, PLAYS FOR FEBRUARY FANTASIA.

After the success of the “Holiday Musings” in December, dampened only by inclement weather, The Open Eye Theater in Margaretville invites local and statewide individuals to submit stories, poems, songs, plays, monologues, and other original creations on the subject of Love:  for a special person, animal or thing, for the community, for the environment, for the self and any other aspect. The pieces should be no more than ten-minutes in length.  Those selected will be presented in an Open House show entitled “February Fantasia” on Saturday, February 16, at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, February 17, at 3:00 pm, at The Open Eye Theater, 960 Main Street, Margaretville.  The authors will be invited to read their own pieces, or have them performed by local actors.

Please submit original material in Word or Acrobat format to Laura Battelani, co-producer of “February Fantasia,” before February 1.     E-mail to [email protected].  Put “February Fantasia” in the subject line, and please include all contact information.
