OPEN EYE THEATER’SANNUAL HARVEST BRUNCH AND AUCTION
On Sunday, November 10, The Open Eye Theater, located at 960 Main Street in Margaretville, will hold its annual Harvest Brunch and Auction from Noon to 3 PM. The event has become a Catskill tradition ushering in the start of the holiday season.
Admission is $25.00 for reservations by Nov. 7, and $30.00 at the door of The Open Eye Theater, 960 Main Street, Margaretville. Number of guests is limited to 80 so advance reservations are strongly suggested by phoning 845-586-1660 or emailing [email protected].
Here is the schedule of events:
Noon - Doors open – tables of bountiful homemade dining delights are immediately available and are accompanied by live music entertainment.
1:15 – Auction begins – Donated goods and services will be bid upon in a spirited auction – lucky bidders will take home a wide variety of goods and services – a featured auction item this year is a one night’s stay in a Regal Suite at the Emerson adults-only Inn, along with a $200 spa voucher.
2:30 – Desserts will be served – A delicious spread of tasty treats offering a wide variety will top the event
A silent auction table will be open for bidding throughout the event.
Open Eye Theater Trustee Linda Kundell, who serves as Chair of the event said, “Our guests will find a sumptuous meal, with roast ham, turkey and our signature baked salmon with assorted sauces. We’ll have custom-made pancakes with apples and walnuts, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage, and an array of breads. Save room for the desserts of homemade pies and other unique sweets. Beverages will be special as well with gourmet coffee and teas. Best not to eat dinner the night before.”
Auction Chair Gail Lennstrom says, “We’re very happy to announce that Chuck MacIntosh will conduct the one-hour auction starting at 1:15 PM. There are exotic items like a night’s stay in a Regal Suite at the Emerson Resort and Spa along with a $200 spa voucher, an original photo of Greta Garbo and much, much more! A silent auction table will hold many special items.”
