OPERA OGGI NEW YORK: 2 one-act comic operas.

LA SERVA PADRONA, composed by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi

an enduring and enchanting example of 18th century “opera buffa”. 

THE TELEPHONE or L’AMOUR A TROIS, by Gian Carlo Menotti

a funny and popular English-language opera. 

This “unorthodox indie-opera company” embraces its mission to make 

opera accessible to all audiences of all ages 

with high quality productions performed in unique and diverse venues.

JANE by S.N. Behrman

Two chances to see FSC's rehearsed reading of this little known 1947 jewel 

based on a story by Somerset Maugham, and written by a master of 20th century “high comedy.” 

Directed by Kirk Jackson, and featuring an array of familiar FSC faces,

this sprawling comedy of manners buzzes with excellently crafted characters and sparkling dialogue.

a medieval Welsh tale of sorcery and court intrigue

The power of inspiration is accidentally bestowed on a child who can suddenly 

see beyond reality in this celebration of transformation and imagination. 

Returning for the 4th time, Mettawee’s production features 

its signature magical medley of giant figures, puppets, masks and live music. 

Performed outside on the Franklin Central School playing field (rain location: Chapel Hall) .
