Bees, Honey & You with Will the Bee Man - July 9, 2017

Join Will Patterson and his beekeeper friends at Blue Deer Center to learn about the workings of a honey bee hive. Participants will gain a better understanding of the crucial relationship between Human Beings and our environment. Learn why bees are vital beyond the production of honey.

The whole family will have fun with a program like this!

We will end with a Q&A period.  Fresh honey will also be for sale!

Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 1:30-3:30pm (plan to arrive 15 minutes earlier)

Cost: $35.00,  Children under 10 Free

Each participant will receive a “bee” head net to keep.

Everyone must wear a heavy long sleeve shirt (flannel, chamois, corduroy). Please wear some type of hat (sun hat, baseball cap).

•   Important-NO perfume, aftershave or scented items!
•  Bees are attracted to scents.
•  Bring a notebook and something to write with.
•  Notes and pictures are encouraged.
•  No audio or video recordings without written permission in advance.
