Piano Plus! Concert at Olive Free Library, April 19, 4:00 p.m.

Piano soloist, Bálint Zsoldos, will play Mozart’s Fantasia in C Minor K. 475, Beethoven’s Sonata in C Minor op.13 "Pathetique," and Liszt’s Sonata in B Minor. The concert will also include a modern composition performed with a “surprise” vocalist. (The “Plus” part of the concert series includes vocalists and other instruments as an added seasoning to the piano music.) The library has partnered with the Bard Conservatory’s Distinguished Composer in Residence, George Tsontakis, who has curated a magnificent line-up of performers for the opening season. The Piano Plus! concerts take advantage of the library’s gorgeous Steinway grand piano, and spacious and inviting community room. The intimate setting is perfect for audiences to experience piano music and small ensembles. This first season includes three concerts in March, April and May, featuring emerging and established musicians. The concerts are held on Saturdays at 4:00 p.m., with a suggested donation of $12 per person.
