The Delaware County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday afternoon that a county-wide road closure, which was announced early in the morning, would be lifted at 2 p.m.:
The road closure for Delaware County will be lifted at effective 2pm today. Even though roads will be open at 2pm a travel advisory remains in effect and all unnecessary travel is discouraged through 11pm this evening.
On Wednesday morning, Gov. Andrew Cuomo declared a ban on all vehicles on I-84 in New York State. The closure is still in effect, as of this post.
Update, 2 p.m.: The Times Herald-Record reports that I-84 has reopened in Orange County, but remains closed in Dutchess and Putnam counties.
