Tornado watch in effect for Catskills region

Update, 5pm: Ulster and Greene County are under a flash flood warning:
Locations In The Warning Include But Are Not Limited To Windham And Prattsville Radar Estimates And Actual Gage Readings Indicating 2 To 4 Inches Of Rain Has Fallen Across Portions Of Greene And Mainly Western Ulster County. Additional Rainfall Of 1 To 3 Inches Is Possible. Rapid Runoff From Heavy Rainfall Will Lead To Flash Flooding.
Sullivan County has a flash flood warning as well:
Numerous Rain-Gage Reports Have Indicated That 3.5 To 5 Inches Of Rain Have Fallen Since Earlier This Morning. An Additional 1 To 2 Inches...And Locally Higher...Can Be Anticipated Through Early This Evening. * Locations In The Warning Include But Are Not Limited To Bethel... Callicoon...Grahamsville...Liberty...Livingston Manor...Loch Sheldrake And Monticello.
Update, 3:40pm: Schoharie, Ulster and Greene Counties have all been added to a tornado watch that includes a large swath of upstate New York.
Update, 1:30pm: A tornado watch has also been announced for an area of central New York that includes Delaware County.
This just in from the National Weather Service at Binghamton: A tornado watch has been issued for New York City and the lower Hudson Valley, including Sullivan County.
According to an alert on NY-Alert, the watch is in effect until 7pm.

Another batch of heavy rain is moving its way in, also look for winds to continue to increase over the next few hours. Signs of a squall line are starting to show on radar West of Binghamton and we will watch how this progress through the afternoon.
