Take cover, Greene and Columbia counties: At 1:15pm, the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning, in effect until 2:15, that warns of hail, lightning, and 60-mile-per-hour winds.
This Storm Was Located Near Athens...Or Near Hudson...And Moving East At 20 Mph.
The Severe Thunderstorm Will Be Near... Hudson By 120 PM EDT... Claverack...Kinderhook And Valatie By 130 PM EDT... Philmont And Chatham By 145 PM EDT... Austerlitz By 210 PM EDT...
That's two in a row for poor Hudson, which got clobbered by intense thunderstorms, hail, and power outages last Friday, and had a state of emergency declared.
