Delaware and Ulster counties get FEMA relief for floods, storms

Thanks to a presidential declaration made on Friday, Delaware and Ulster counties are now eligible for federal disaster-relief funds for the storms that swept much of New York between April 26 and May 8. Remember those tornado warnings and flooding alerts? Now there's a pool of federal funds that can be used for cleanup projects.

Unfortunately, however, this money won't cover Sidney Center's late-May flooding.
