Showdown at the Hotel Austin

The Schoharie County Sheriff's Office reports that two local men are due to appear in the Town of Schoharie Court today, on charges stemming from a fight at the Hotel Austin in Central Bridge last Tuesday. The press release:

On 10-19-10 at approximately 8:46pm, Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported fight at the Hotel Austin in Central Bridge. The caller reported that there were firearms involved. Deputies arrested Justin S. Miller, 21, of Middleburgh for Assault in the 3rd degree and multiple counts of Menacing in the 2nd Degree after he allegedly displayed a firearm following a physical altercation outside the bar. He was remanded to jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond. Sheriff's Deputies were assisted on scene by the State Police and Schoharie Village Police Department.

On 10-24-10, after a brief investigation, Deputies arrested Marcus A. Liccardi, 18, of West Fulton for the charge of Assault in the 2nd Degree. Mr. Liccardi had left the scene prior to police arrival on 10-19-10. He was sent to jail on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.

Both subjects are to appear in the Town of Schoharie Court on 10-25-10 at 5:30pm, before the Honorable Justice F. Kennedy.
