Phoenicia's Mama's Boy hits the news

Michael Koegel, who launched the new Phoenicia eatery "Mama's Boy" over Memorial Day, got an ecstatic review in the Daily Freeman this week. But one thing he said sparked a retort in the comments section:

I wish Mr. Koegel great success, but to say there are no places to hang out in Phoenicia is surprising. Sweet Sue's, Brio's and Alamo are some of the best hangouts in Ulster and they all ended up in the same little "one horse" town. Not far away Roger & Alyce's and the Emerson sell high quality local grocery products. I wish Mr. Koegel had considered doing this venture in Shokan, Big Indian, Olivebridge or somewhere along the well travelled 209 corridor from Napanoch to Accord. Those places are deserts when it comes to hangout places and good "home" cooking.
