Snow, snow, snow and more snow! While the farm fields rest under their white blanket, farm work continues behind-the-scenes, around the warmth of a woodstove. Planning, meeting, ordering seeds from incredibly colorful and encouraging catalogs... this is how we displace memories of the hard work of summer and get excited about it all over again. We work the upper body with shovels, tossing snow over the mountainous piles, for a healthy balance of stillness and movement.
