The Historical Society of Middletown and the Margretville Fire Dept. are offering two $500 scholarships in memory of George Hendricks, Jr. who was a member of both organizations, a history buff and an active community volunteer.
Scholarship applicants must do a history project of their choosing. It's due in May. Ask for guidelines at the MCS Guidance Office,
