HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley® Announces New Mobile Website

HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley® is pleased to announce the launch of their mobile website.

The new site provides easy and comprehensive access to HealthAlliance information and key features from a smartphone or tablet. Furthermore, for those whose primary language is not English, the site also offers a translator to Spanish to help simplify navigation. In 2012, 67.8 percent of the language needs at HealthAlliance were for Spanish, and in 2013 the number rose to 72.7 percent. With such a significant need for Spanish communication, HealthAlliance aims to establish more effective lines of communication with the Spanish-speaking community.

“HealthAlliance is committed to providing exceptional communication and health care services to all patients, including those whose primary language is not English,” said David Scarpino, CEO of HealthAlliance. “This is a great way for us to utilize technology to enhance our communication with patients.”

Through this effort, HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley® aims to improve access to healthcare and the overall patient experience. Site visitors can easily view bill pay, wellness programs, contact information, directions to each campus, HealthAlliance’s Privacy Policy and details on departments and services, including the location where the service is available, an overview of what the service is and related services. For information not included on the mobile version, the site provides a link to the main webpage. Additionally, HealthAlliance will potentially expand the mobile site to include other languages in the future.

The new HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley® mobile site was made possible by funding from the HealthAlliance Foundation as well as the Dyson Foundation.
