Recently Visit Vortex, a Travel Magazine featured a unique breakfast treat. Cook Corey Hanson, from the Phoenix Restaurant at the Emerson Resort & Spa unveiled his Chocolate Dipped Pancakes with a Strawberry Sorbet. This unique breakfast entrée along with an extensive breakfast menu is served from 7 am – 12pm daily at the streamside eatery located in the Emerson Resort. Corey’s talent and approach has brought the meaning of Breakfast Cook to a whole new level. This chocolate dipped treat certainly contradicts our parent’s old Adage, “no dessert before your meal”. Corey graduated from Ichabod Crane Central School where he studied Culinary Arts. Corey currently lives with his girlfriend Katelynn and their beautiful 6 month old Son and her 4 year old Daughter. Whether you’re going to work or play, Corey looks forward to starting your day.
