Look for our sheep at the East Durham Irish Festival!
You may know her best as our sock model, but our showgirl Heather and her three week old triplets will be greeting visitors to the stone cottage this weekend at the Festival. The cottage is a genuine traditional Irish cottage, dismantled and brought stone by stone to be rebuilt here.  The sheep will add to the authenticity!  Kate and Maggie will be demonstrating spinning and knitting, and showing how raw fleece gets turned into yarn and then into hats, sweaters, and more. Jane and Christine will staff our booth in the vendor pavilion.

Photography Show
At the Green County Council on the Arts gallery on Main Street in Catskill. there is a new show called Plowshares, that opened last Saturday and will run through July.  Among the pieces of interesting works, Kyle Adams has fine photos of three local farms, including Heather Ridge.  Proof in living color that we work hard!
