Woodstock Poetry Walk, ©Woodstock Public Library, 2016

Join Will Nixon, whose Acrostic Woodstock found its poetic muse in our village, and Weston Blelock, publisher of WoodstockArts, for a village walking tour. Special guests include William Rhoads, author of the preeminent guide to Ulster County architecture; Lissa Kiernan, founder of the Poetry Barn; and her fellow poets, Tina Barry and Ryan Clinesmith. Together we'll celebrate National Poetry Month as we venture into the past. We'll start at the Woodstock Public Library (5 Library Lane) at 10 am on Saturday, April 8th, and finish by 11:30 am. Please sign up in advance at the library; the group is limited to twenty. This event is organized in conjunction with the Poetry Barn and Writers in the Mountains, and leads up to the 2017 Catskill Interpretive Center Book Fair on June 24th.
