Come and join us at the Community Art Space in the Commons Building in Margaretville. Participants will learn to weave a magazine basket for that armchair reader or knitter! Each student will learn the basic weaving techniques using rattan reed as the material. Color, pattern and design will be incorporated into the project. A brief history of basketry and examples of other techniques will be discussed as well. No experience necessary.
