The Ulster County town of Shandaken declared a state of emergency due to flash flooding around 8pm. The following roads are closed:
Oliverea:
Oliverea Road/Ulster Co. Rt. 47
McKinley Hollow Road
Burnham Hollow Road
Eagle Mtn. Road
Deer Lane
Phoenicia:
South Street
Jay Street
High Street
Plank Road

Rescue workers are at the Phoenicia Fire House on Rt. 214. 688-7315 or call 911. PLEASE also be aware that running water across roadways may have hidden hazards - do NOT drive through. We expect rain to end over the next few hours. KEEP SAFE!
