On Friday, September 7th the village of Saugerties premiers its First Friday of the Fall with fabulous music, art, shopping, food and drink. Wiggle to the latest jams indoors and out, pick up that must-have you didn't know you needed, meet an artist, taste a cocktail, make a friend. Chocolate flows from a fountain, dogs greet each other on the sidewalk, vintage jewels in shop windows sparkle in the setting sun. Our friends on Main Street are joining in this month, so now the whole village opens wide its doors with tastings, special sales and even spontaneous street performances. Saugerties always hosts a one-of-a-kind First Friday the only way we know how-- with spirit, warmth and a hearty grin.
