Drug bust at Brennie's Pizzeria in Highland

An Ulster County undercover narcotics investigation has resulted in a raid on Brennie's Pizzeria in Highland, and the arrest of 25-year-old Milton resident Brandon Storms on various drug trafficking charges.

The Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (URGENT) and the Town of Lloyd police department report that Storms was arrested during a raid on the pizzeria on Tuesday, in which he was caught selling a pound of marijuana on the premises. The team was investigating numerous tips that Storms was selling marijuana and Oxycodone from the pizzeria.

According to a press release sent out by URGENT today, a search of the business revealed diverted pharmaceuticals, marijuana and drug records, as well as over $6,000 in cash.

Storms faces several charges of criminal sale and possession of controlled sustances and marijuana. Storms was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Justice Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash and $100,000 bond.

An employee answering the phone at Brennie's today said the pizzeria is open.
