Flash flood watch in effect for Greene, Ulster, Schoharie Counties

Through Tuesday morning. Other Eastern New York counties included in flood watch. From NY-Alert:

A Slow Moving Cold Front Will Approach The Region From The Northwest Today And Tonight...As A Series Of Low Pressure Systems Travel Along The Frontal Boundary. As This Front Interacts With Deep Tropical Moisture...Several Rounds Of Showers And Thunderstorms Containing Torrential Downpours Will Become More Numerous Today...And Should Continue Through Tonight. This Heavy Rainfall...Combined With Saturated Soil Conditions From Extreme Rainfall Associated With Irene...May Lead To Flash Flooding In Low Lying...Poor Drainage Areas... And In Areas Adjacent To Small Streams And Creeks. In Addition...Rivers That Experienced Flooding During Irene Will Be Particularly Susceptible To Renewed Flooding Should Torrential Downpours Occur For Several Hours. * Precautionary/Preparedness Actions... A Flash Flood Watch Means That Conditions May Develop That Lead To Flash Flooding. Flash Flooding Is A Very Dangerous Situation. You Should Monitor Later Forecasts And Be Prepared To Take Action Should Flash Flood Warnings Be Issued

We're keeping an eye on the forecast map for area hydrographs. As of this hour, it looks mostly okay.
