WCCRC Business Manager Celebrates Anniversary

Western Catskills Community Revitalization Council, Inc. congratulates their Business Manager, Marcia Shaw, who recently celebrated 9 years with the organization. Ms. Shaw is a native of Delaware County and also operates her family farm in the Town of Meredith.

WCCRC is a 501(c) 3 not for profit Rural Preservation Company working under the auspices of New York State Homes and Community Renewal.  Our mission is to cooperate with community members and local, state, and federal governmental and civic bodies in aiding, assisting and fostering the planning, development, renewal, and improvement of housing, mixed-use, commercial and civic buildings toward community revitalization and economic development.

The staff gathered for cake to celebrate this organizational milestone. “It has been a pleasure and a challenge to work at Western Catskills. It is rewarding to know that the work we do has such a tremendous impact on the people we are able to help,” states Ms. Shaw.

Executive Director, Velga Kundzins, says,  “The depth of experience and knowledge that Marcia brings to our organization is greatly appreciated, not only by me personally and the rest of the staff that gets to work with her day-to-day, but also by our board of directors.”
