Robert is a little known artist and long time resident of Franklin New York. In the late nineties, Robert began constructing fantastic stone castles and keeps from native stone, in his small backyard. He has since created amazingly unique works at the homes of several Franklin residents. But, Robert's artistic interests and instincts go way beyond his stonework in ways that are surprising and very enlightening.
After viewing Robert, if you feel so moved, you may leave something in the Tip Jar (link below the player on Vimeo https://vimeo.com/32004590).
Robert is funded in part by a grant from the New York Council on the Arts' Decentralization Program, administered in Delaware County by The Roxbury Arts Group.

A Micro-Report on this year's Dog Walk and Fair, "Long Live Ruff & Roll" at Legion Field in Delhi. The Heart of the Catskills Humane Society shelters dogs and cats in the western Catskill region. They care for those who cannot speak or care for themselves. They educate their community, defend the meekest, teach humane treatment for all living creatures, foster a compassion for the weakest, heal the broken trust of the abused, and link the lonely with a four-legged companion. And they will until they educate every person in the community that spaying and neutering animals is the only humane thing to do, that owning a pet is a commitment for the lifetime of the pet, that abuse or neglect is unconscionable and illegal. And they try to match every adoptable pet with a loving home - every day.
