The CATSKILL MOUNTAIN ARTISANS GUILD is happy to announce their collaboration with Quail Hollow Events for the WOODSTOCK-NEW PALTZ ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR 2013. This FAIR has become a major east coast venue for high quality juried art and craft work. We are proud to be part of such a prestigious and well respected art organization.
On Memorial Day Weekend 2013, the GUILD will bring demonstrations to the FAIR including wood turning, weaving, fused glass making, spinning, woodworking and more for the public to view. There will also be separate workshops for children of all ages involving weaving, paper marbling, nature crafts, stone painting, toy making and more.

The magical process of creating wool fabrications begins with raw fleece, a little soap and water and a lot of agitation. This class will demystify the felting process.
