Group Multimedia Fundraising Exhibit (through 11/5)

The West Kortright Centre’s annual fundraising art exhibition, opens on Friday, September 2, with a reception from 5-7PM. The reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments are sponsored by Brewery Ommegang and Hand in Hand Farm.

This year’s exhibit, “Sticks ‘n’ Stones”, is inspired by the natural beauty of the northwestern Catskills. A diverse group of artists have donated work based on this theme in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, fiber arts, jewelry, and more.

Participants include Liz Hoheusle, Abby Kinsley, Dave Turan, Caitlyn Davey, Lisa Jacobson, Lanny Harrison, Rod Sauquillo, John Jackson, Annie Hayes, Wijnanda Deroo Macek, Melissa Johnson, Jessamee Sanders, Otelia Blu, Erwin Karl, Drew Herman, Karen Graves, Yemana Sanders, Jill Tanone, Richard Kathmann, Alan Herman, Marianne Neuber, Gerry Pearlberg, and Bobbi Goldman.

The pieces will be available for purchase by silent bidding; final bids will be accepted at the last event of the season, The Bumper Jacksons (American roots, country swing, and street jazz) concert on November 5.

(This 9/2 event also serves as a Sneak Peak preview of the Silent Auction & Rummage Sale that will open on Suynday, 9/4!)
