Two weekend painting workshops with painter Richard Kathmann

In collaboration with the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development
**Platte Clove Plein Air Workshop •Saturday–Sunday, September 15–16, 10 AM–3 PM**
The first two sessions of this in-depth workshop will be held at the incrediblybeautiful Platte Clove Cabin & Nature Preserve in the heart of theCatskills. Kathmann will provide students with methods for finding innatecompositions in their paintings of the woods and the Platte Clove waterfall.
**North-South Lake Plein Air Workshop • Saturday–Sunday, September 22–23, 10 AM–3PM**
The second weekend session will take place near the site of the old Catskill Mountain House.Students will concentrate on managing vistas, learning methods for selectingedges and depths, and controlling pictorial “events” while rendering thedistance of panoramic views. $150/$125WKC Member each weekend or $250 for both weekends
