Free Walks - June 16 & June 20!

Join the Watershed Agriculture Council (WAC) Forestry staff as they lead 2 free Tree Identification Walks at local model forests. Learn how to identify trees, which trees have economic value, and which trees are important to local ecosystems. The program will be an outdoor hike, so please wear good shoes and be prepared for the weather. If you would like to attend one of the free walks, please contact Katie Palm atkpalm@catskillcenter.org.
Saturday, June 16 10am to noon with Watershed Agricultural Council Forestry Program Manager Tom Pavlesich at CCE-Greene County's Siuslaw Model Forest, located at the Agroforestry Resource Center - 6055 Route 23, Acra, NY 12405.
Wednesday, June 20 6-8pm with Council Watershed Forester Karl VonBerg at CCE-Delaware County's Lennox Model Forest, located at 4-H Camp Shankitunk, 2420 Arbor Hill Road, Delhi, NY 13753.
