 This Woodstock quintet originally was formed by (Aaron Louis Hurwitz), aka Professor Louie for hisco-production’s for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall Of Fame group, The Band.  Professor Louie & The Crowmatix went on to becomethe studio backing band for CD’s by Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Levon Helm,. They offer the most impressive credentials, the deepest hearts, and a genuine loveof performing live. Their CD Whispering Pines, received no fewer than five Grammy nominations in 2010. Professor Louie & The Crowmatix play 150 showsa year.

In 2011 they were inducted into The Southern Canadian Blues Hall Of Fame. Jan 1, 2012, Louie was inducted into The Blues Hall Of Fame and on May 20, 2012, THE CROWMATIX will be inducted into The International Blues Hallof Fame. June 5th 2012 Woodstock Records will release ProfessorLouie & The Crowmatix 8th studio album “Wings On Fire”.
