"Love's Kingdom" lieder recital is taking place prior to the opera at 4:15 on the Festival Stage. This elegant program features some of the the most beautiful songs ever written including songs by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, and Richard Strauss. It culminates with Brahms' gorgeous Liebeslieder waltzes for four solo voices and piano duo. There will be plenty of time to picnic or grab a bite in town between the recital and the opera.
