1st Annual - Art and Soul of the Catskills Film Festival - View the VIDEO PROMO

The First Annual Art & Soul of the Catskills Film Festival will be held August 24th at SUNY Delhi and August 25 in conjuction with the Art & Soul of the Catskills Festival in Courthouse Square. Films will screen all day and evening in the United Ministry Church basement. There will be a kick off event at SUNY Delhi on Friday the 24th, where awards for the Film Festival will be announced and several films will screen.

The following is the mission statement for the Film Festival:

The Art & Soul of the Catskill’s Film Festival (ASCFF) will offer a venue for established and aspiring local filmmakers to showcase their talents and lead the community in creative and cultural discovery through the moving image.

The ASCFF will have a program of films from around the region that displays beauty of our land and artistry of our residents.

The ASCFF welcomes submissions from all levels of filmmakers providing they are residents of Delaware, Otsego, Ulster, Green, Chenango and Schoharie Counties, the film was produced in these counties, or the subject of the film centers in these areas.

The ASCFF will strive to introduce new talent to audiences and develop independent film lovers of the future.
