It was attended by an audience of about 50 people, which included an assortment of local residents, human rights advocates, Orthodox Jews and public officials, all of whom attempted to quell growing discord between the two communities.<span class="read-more"><a href="/2016/tensions-simmer-sullivan-county-seeks-dialogue-summer-orthodox-communi"><strong>&nbsp; Read more</strong></a></span></p> <div class="field field-type-viewfield field-field-in-story-ad"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="view view-in-story-ad view-id-in_story_ad view-display-id-block_1 view-dom-id-8a84b37196ac841c41a12510f3fa6675"> <div class="view-content"> <div class="views-row views-row-1 views-row-odd views-row-first views-row-last"> <div class="views-field views-field-body"> <div class="field-content"><div style="padding:5px;border:1px solid #e0e0e0;"> <!-- 300x250_in_story --> <div id='div-gpt-ad-1415717181520-0' style='width:300px; height:250px; float:left;margin-right:20px;'> <script type='text/javascript'> googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1415717181520-0'); }); </script> </div> <div class="smalladz" style="margin-left:10px;"><a href="http://woodstockwritersradio.com/"><img src="/images/woodstockfrankel.png" width="150" height="250" alt="Woodstock Writers Radio with Martha Frankel and guests" style="margin-bottom:5px;"/></a></div> </div></div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> http://www.watershedpost.com/2016/tensions-simmer-sullivan-county-seeks-dialogue-summer-orthodox-communi#comments Bloomingburg Divine Corners Hasbrouck Wurtsboro Hurleyville Loch Sheldrake Fallsburg Mountaindale South Fallsburg Woodbourne Woodridge Mamakating Sullivan County Bloomingburg bungalow colonies Fallsburg Hasidic Jews Hasidim Human Rights Commission of Sullivan County Orthodox Jews Shalom Lamm Timothy Knight no Fri, 24 Jun 2016 22:24:24 +0000 Timothy Knight 39608 at http://www.watershedpost.com (7/3) Alt-country Gala Dance Under the Stars with Girls Guns & Glory and The Hop City Hellcats http://www.watershedpost.com/sponsored/2016/73-alt-country-gala-dance-under-stars-girls-guns-glory-and-h <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-mainimage"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_mainimage" width="480" height="270" alt="" src="http://www.watershedpost.com/sites/default/files/West%20Kortright%20Centre/GGGoutside.jpg?1466789270" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-emvideo field-field-video"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="emvideo emvideo-video emvideo-youtube"><div id="media-youtube-1" class="media-youtube"> <div id="media-youtube-default-external-1"> <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="385" width="480" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/2Mkd34YVSHQ&amp;amp;rel=0&amp;amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;amp;playerapiid=ytplayer&amp;amp;fs=1" id="media-youtube-default-external-object-1"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2Mkd34YVSHQ&amp;amp;rel=0&amp;amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;amp;playerapiid=ytplayer&amp;amp;fs=1" /> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain"/> <param name="quality" value="best"/> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/> <param name="bgcolor" value="#FFFFFF"/> <param name="scale" value="noScale"/> <param name="salign" value="TL"/> <param name="FlashVars" value="playerMode=embedded" /> <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <!-- Fallback content --> <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Mkd34YVSHQ"><img src="http://img.youtube.com/vi/2Mkd34YVSHQ/0.jpg" alt="See video" title="See video" width="480" height="385" /></a> </object> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <p>(EAST MEREDITH) The West Kortright Centre’s annual Gala Dance Under the Stars will take place Sunday, July 3rd, starting at 7PM. In ceremonies to be held at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, in Crow Agency, Montana, Bloomville resident Cliff Eaglefeathers will play a special role.</p> <p>Eaglefeathers, a full-blooded Northern Cheyenne and a teacher of Native American Studies at SUNY Empire State College in Saratoga, will present a rare artifact to tribal elders: a tribal dress made from the coats of Union soldiers who fell at the Battle of Little Bighorn. The designs for the new covered bridge are based on a mix of the original designs and necessary improvements.</p> <p>Although the appearance of the structure itself will remain true to the original, Snyder detailed a number of changes, including the replacement of the bridge’s stone abutments with abutments made of reinforced concrete.<span class="read-more"><a href="/2016/schoharie-county-approves-final-design-new-blenheim-covered-bridge"><strong>&nbsp; Read more</strong></a></span></p> <div class="field field-type-viewfield field-field-in-story-ad"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="view view-in-story-ad view-id-in_story_ad view-display-id-block_1 view-dom-id-8a84b37196ac841c41a12510f3fa6675"> <div class="view-content"> <div class="views-row views-row-1 views-row-odd views-row-first views-row-last"> <div class="views-field views-field-body"> <div class="field-content"><div style="padding:5px;border:1px solid #e0e0e0;"> <!-- 300x250_in_story --> <div id='div-gpt-ad-1415717181520-0' style='width:300px; height:250px; float:left;margin-right:20px;'> <script type='text/javascript'> googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1415717181520-0'); }); </script> </div> <div class="smalladz" style="margin-left:10px;"><a href="http://woodstockwritersradio.com/"><img src="/images/woodstockfrankel.png" width="150" height="250" alt="Woodstock Writers Radio with Martha Frankel and guests" style="margin-bottom:5px;"/></a></div> </div></div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> http://www.watershedpost.com/2016/schoharie-county-approves-final-design-new-blenheim-covered-bridge#comments Old Blenheim Bridge Old Blenheim Covered Bridge Schoharie County Board of Supervisors Timothy Knight no Thu, 23 Jun 2016 19:41:55 +0000 Timothy Knight 39600 at http://www.watershedpost.com The Workings of Honey Bee Hives with Will "The Bee Man" http://www.watershedpost.com/sponsored/2016/workings-honey-bee-hives-will-bee-man <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-mainimage"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_mainimage" width="480" height="360" alt="" src="http://www.watershedpost.com/sites/default/files/bluedeercenter/Bee_Ad_5.10%20Watershed%20and%20MTC_1.jpg?1466697358" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-body-image-1"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_body_image_1" width="480" height="201" alt="" src="http://www.watershedpost.com/sites/default/files/bluedeercenter/BDC-Logo-KTag-NoCenter.jpg?1466697305" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-nodereference field-field-business-reference"> <div class="field-items"> <p><em>This Sponsored Story is paid advertising.
