Teens charged for golf course vandalism

Four teens were arrested last Wednesday for “extensive” vandalism of the Swan Lake Golf Course in Bethel.

Seventeen year olds Matthew Miller, Jahkim McGhee, 18-year-old Donovan Price and an unnamed 14-year-old were charged with criminal mischief in the second degree on Wednesday, May 30  by state police in Liberty.

Extensive damage was done to the golf course turf and golf carts, police said.

Miller, Price and McGhee were arraigned in the town of Bethel justice court and sent to Sullivan County jail on $10,000 bail. The juvenile was sent to representatives of the Abbott House and will appear in Sullivan County family court.
